Executive One-on-One Session

(This can be a one-hour session or multi-day program, and may involve role playing, video feedback and other analytical tools.)

Designed for: Senior management

Overview:

Addressing an audience of one, or one hundred, and having your message heard and remembered is a formidable task. Typically, message retention is based on how important the message is to the audience, which is why it is essential that the message be crafted with focus and delivered with a degree of flair. In the presentation dynamic, clarity is essential, even if the goal is simply to thank an audience for their support.

We’ve all attended presentations that have held our attention and allowed us to come away with an understanding of the intended message. However, this is not always the case, which is why it is important that the presenter organize content and deliver the message for maximum retention; two factors that offer varying degrees of challenge.
Effective presentations require that one organize their content, adapt to their audience, and invite dialogue. This executive one-on-one session will identify presentation objectives, and tailor efforts based on particular needs. This can include everything from reviewing content, to improving vocal qualities, to handling hostile questions. Following this session, participants will be better able to:

Properly organize their message into a core statement that is supported throughout.
Develop a comfort level while delivering the speech from a podium or conference table.
Encourage audience interaction and enhance message retention.
Stay on message despite challenging questions from the audience.
Use PowerPoint to support your presentation, not stifle it.

Sales Presentation Skills Executive One-on-One Session

Designed for: Senior management

Overview:

Skilled presenters (as well as those who just think they are) can always use an “additional ear” before presenting to large groups of employees, customers, or investors. This session critically analyzes content, organization, and delivery, using video feedback. Role playing hostile environments, and formulating response strategies to questions intended to confront or even embarrass the speaker are also covered as necessary. In addition, we teach the OAD Method (organize, adapt and dialogue) while meeting particular concerns such as nervous habits, poor eye contact, weak posture, and more. Following this session, participants will be able to:

Effectively communicate and support their core statement
Enhance audience interest and message retention
Field questions to answer specific concerns without getting side tracked
Overcome bad posture, monotonous tones, and awkward hand gestures
Feel comfortable and relaxed whether talking to one individual or a large group

Overview:

This program is similar in scope to the executive session, and is intended to improve one-on-one and small group communication. Feedback from members of the group is used along with proven training techniques to make participants recognize that communication is more about what their audience hears, than what is presented. Following this session, participants will be better able to express their thoughts clearly and answer questions that support their presentation objectives.
