 Case Study: CanobeamCanobeam Transmission System (Sales and Training PowerPoint)Canon Broadcast and Communications needed a Sales and Training PowerPoint for Canobeam, an optical wireless transmission system used to transmit data, video, and audio (much as is done over fiber), in applications where fiber is not available or too expensive to install. This project involved the creation of visual communications tools that could stand on their own, and explain the unique features of the product, with or without a presenter. The company’s objective was to communicate the advantages of the product, explain key features, and provide a training guide for installation and use.  Solution: We created a PowerPoint which explained the benefits of the product to the potential user base. This included animation, since it was important that we demonstrate a key advantage of the product “built-in Auto Tracking.” This important technology adjusted the optical beams being sent from one Canobeam to the other in buildings prone to normal sway, and it was important that we create graphics that could demonstrate this effect, while indicating the importance of this unique feature.
